The Patterson family transformed the old Salt Box building themselves, creating the Bolton Bean as a place for good food, good coffee, good company, and a strong sense of community.

We believe good food and drink starts with good ingredients. We work with local farms, coffee roasters, tea makers, and other producers whenever we can, including High Lawn Farm, and MEM Tea.

Just off I-495 with plenty of parking, The Bolton Bean is an easy stop for your morning coffee, lunch with a friend, or an afternoon on the patio.
We order coffee, a Matcha Latte with oat milk and a pistachio muffin. Hands down the best pistachio muffin I’ve ever had. It was fresh, moist and super delicious! Definitely going back to try other pastries.
Got a few coffees here in the past always delicious! recently stopped in for lunch and got a buffalo chicken wrap with an iced coffee to go and it was amazing. I shall be returning
I absolutely love their tea and their sandwiches. My sister and I come often and really love the vibes inside or when the weather is nice, to sit outside. Really lovely local place.
